The candidates wife files her tax separately. She is part of the team, isn't she. She is the only candidates wife who files separately, to my knowledge. But is it true that she's worth nearly One BILLION dollars? Think I saw something to that effect. But, for safety's sake, let's say she's only worth $500,000,000, maybe more. Treasury Bonds get 5% interest, so at the least, she is making that much. That would put her income at $25,000,000...........right? So how much tax did you say she paid? She should be in the 39.9% bracket....So her taxes should be $6,250,000........ And by the way, the money she has in trust is taxible. She does pay tax on that money, doesn't she. We know how much George and Laura Bush paid.... so what about the Kerry's. Both of them. Fair share and all that.
