Steve, last time I looked a democrat senator's vote counted the same as a republican senator's vote.

Not if those Democrats wait to see which way the majority goes before placing their votes.

It's pretty much why a lot of them voted for the Iraq war ... and why liberals like Ted and Michael Moore are angry at them for not taking a stronger stance against Bush. They have no leadership.

And they'd do it again even if they knew then what they know now. I saw a report last night where 43 senators were polled (those that responded), and only 3 of those would have changed their votes. I remember Clinton and Daschle were two that said they would vote THE SAME way today. There were several other prominent Dems mentioned as well.

But somehow it's Bush's "dirty little war" according to some here.
