It’s going to be a hard sell, especially if the information is coming from the same people who cried wolf in Iraq

The difficulty is, that Iraq seems to be the only case where they had less than we thought. In Libya, Pakistan, North Korea and Iran, it's clear that they have much more than we thought. The Iranians are scarcely bothering to deny their program anymore.

They don’t seem to have gone all meek and mild, as the hawk brigade expected. The opposition to the mullahs doesn’t seem to have had a sudden rush of boldness, either.

That's true, but what is developing under the surface? The Iranian people do not support their government and want reform.

What an odd world. When you think what happened in the American colonies just because of taxation without representation.

They probably wouldn’t even fight conventional battles; they know from the Iraqi example that they can do far more damage by going underground and attacking static occupation forces.

The unique situation with Nukes would make it possible to do it as a raid. We would never occupy, IMO. But we have to go before they get them.
