They attack us because under the Wahhab sect of Islam, they believe its right to attack the World in order to spread Islam worldwide. Islam is currently attacking sudan, Georgia, Croatia, Serbia, France, US, Germany etc. today. They kill anybody who will not convert to Islam. This is no different than their attacks on the West before the Crusades. They nearly got Spain and France then.

That's a really good article but the wingers won't accept it. Even otherwise intelligent people have ludicrous notions about what this is all about, someone told me recently that the terrorists' goal is to "kill us all." Given that there are almost 300m of us, they are going to have a hard time of it. I can't remember how many times someone has told me that Saddam wanted to take my freedom away. Why the heck would he want to do that? Taking my freedom would confer no benefit on him, aside from the fact that it would be impossible to accomplish.
