The problem is that progressive Muslims remain silent.

I believe most of the progressive Muslims are to be found in the west and they are afraid to identify themselves as such and speak out for fear of reprisals from their radical "brethren" and ordinary white supremacist groups
and even from ordinary Muslimphobes of any color.
