The real problem in the world now are Bushies. They showed in Iraq what they mean to do to the world and the way they like to go about things. They basically want to use the US military and taxpayers to become a neo-imperial corporate juggernaut, while at home they aim to subvert democracy and use as many Soviet style propaganda technqiues as possiblke to the muddy the waters of true information flow and honest debate.

If they get their way we will be in a state of permanent war and gradually lose what's most precious in our democracy. Since their power grabs depend on war, they will secretly not try to end the war on terror, but keep it going, evfen if they have to invent new enemies.

What's at risk is our nation's liquidity, tens of thousands of US lives, freedom of the press, every vote counting, separating corporations from government, separating church (rightwing ones) from government, unifying the world, unifying the country, making sure our alliances are strong and generally making the world more peaceful and prosperous. The only thing that's held Bushies back so far is their failures in Iraq and the GOP moderates who have often sided with the DEmocrats to slow down their hardline extreme right wing agenda.
