Has anyone heard any question on why there was such major goofup on intelligence that lead to the invasion? There was no major goof. The reason the SOTU included the silly Niger Yellowcake story was that Bush knew he had no intelligence to support the invasion. There WAS NO GOOF. Hardcore Republicans DON'T CARE. They're voting their religious convictions and the notion that Dems are elitists looking down on them or welfare-sucking liberals looking down on them. What goes on in Medicare, the war, the economy, taxes ISN'T IMPORTANT. Stupid but passionate.
