If he killed any women and children, he did so in service to his country. Former senator Bob Kerrey may also have killed civilians in vietnam.

It was a war where the enemy didn't wear uniforms, and it was difficult sometimes to identify who was a threat and who wasn't.

It is remarkable to me that people use the tremendous sacrifices of these men to deride them. While they were enduring hell in vietnam, Bush and Cheney were living it up here in the states.
