The rightwing working hard to dampen the Edwards bounce. According to Salon.Com, the Washington Times and Drudge even got the mainstream press to cover the hugging story, in order to poke fun at Kerry-Edwards. Fortunately, Kerry-Edwards joined in the laughter and said "we're a great couple". Their lovefest is not a negative it's a huge positive as Edwards breightens up Kerry substantially, covers his back from dishonest attacks and Edwards gets gravitas from Kerry. Since their positions in the Senate were virtually identical they can also defend each others records from those dishonest Bush TV ads. Most important, Edwards is the GOP's worst nightmare. A really honest and downhome country family man with REAL family values, not just hype about it. Since when are GW and Cheney big family men anyway? And a lot of GW's religion is hyped.
