I just reread the post you are saying is dishonest to see what you could interpret that way. Here is the post: I'm flattered at what close attention you and the Abu Graib humorist are paying to me. I'm on hold with Delta, and was distracted by various electronic instructions and call-waiting beeps, so typed a sentence that didn't look right when the interruptions stopped. And then, as I surfed, I added links I came across. It's pathetic when after you make a fool of yourself you try for redemption with a lame post like that. "Oh look, she edited!" The "3 times" part is a lie, btw, unless you include the links I added. Why bother to lie about such a thing? It's not as though you needed practice. Have you absorbed the information that when you report what someone says it's not the same as when you report what someone says someone said? Mightn't it be a useful distinction for you to learn? That is perfectly accurate. It's funny that you are reduced to a pathetic focus on whether I made three instead of two edits on a post, especially since neither change was material to the principles under discussion. You don't even make that claim. Incidentally, editing is kind of automatic for me because I'm an editor, it's what I do. I'm sure I've made three changes on a post from time to time. It happens that on that one, I didn't: I was surfing during what was left of the 15 minute window), and added the links you see there.
