I sure was, born in 1968. I don't remember Jimmy Carter or Walter Mondale trashing Reagan in a mean spirited way every day. Bush Senior was mean, yelling and screaming. He sounded like a real jerk, which is probably why people liked him. People want emotional rhetoric, not real solutions to our problems.
