Actors and now football players for the republicans? They wont touch the platform out of principal on stem cell and gay rights amendment. They wont repace any office holder--rummy, cheney, etc. But in order to win we get actors and now washed up football players. The fact that they can win elections doesnt alter the real GOP problem of the voluntary shrinking of the reagan tent. Kerry will get along just fine with Ditka. mike
