Bush ignored terrorism completely. Clinton was very much engaged. despite the Bushies vile attempt to destroy Richard Clarke's credibility, the man was our terrorism czar and was stunned that when Bush took over, no attention whatsoever was given the problem of Al Qaida. In fact up until 9-11 not a single mention of Al Qaida or terrorism by the Bushies in any speech, and the acting FBI hhead was told by Ashcroft in 2001 that he didn't want to hear anything more about terrorism. And you blame CLINTON? Man you are really flip-flopped around.

Big fat lie by Dick Cheney yesterday: "Now it seems they've both developed a convenient case of campaign amnesia," the vice president said during a fund-raiser in Bethlehem, one stop on a daylong campaign swing through Pennsylvania. "If the president was right, and he was, then they are simply trying to rewrite history for their own political purposes" Cheney knows damn well that Kerry voted for war powers only on the condition that Bush did as he had promised, to only invade as a last resort, and then only with a wide coalition, UN support and a well-planned post-invasion strategy. Cheney also knows that he Dick Cheney lied to the nation about the dangers of Saddam and intentionally hyped intelligence. So the question is, why vote for a big fat liar?
