I heard a dem operative say the other day that there would be no convention bounce this time around. I was surprised because McCaulllife had just predicted a day early a ten point bounce.
It looks like this will be like the races between Affirmed and Alydar. Affirmed won them all by small and then smaller margins. Since Bush won the first encounter with Gore, maybe Bush will be Affirmed to Kerry's Alydar. Mike
PS A democratic friend said he was sickened by all the hugging and kissing and nudging that went on between JFK2, Pashmina, Edwards and Tipper2. I liked the part when Pashmina almost ripped the thumb from the little guys mouth because it was spoiling a photo op.
PPS The trial lawyer thing will come back to bite the choice of edwards. I had thought all along that Gephard would have been the better pick. It would have a more mature ticket and Geppy can be tought on fp and he it would have guaranteed kerry MO. If kerry loses by one state and MO goes republican, that would be way cool.
