Too bad the Soviet Union is dead. I think you would have like it there. They had govenment health care.

Most countries in the world have health care. Canada has a great health care system. Most of Europe does too.

In America we have a two tier system. Those with expensive crappy healthcare insurance and those with none.

Employers are being over charged for healthcare premiums because the insurer needs to have a profit, and most of the country is uninsured so that they contribute nothing to the healthcare system, but then cost the government when they get severely ill. An illness that likely could have been caught and treated at an earlier stage by a comprehensive healthcare system.

Business will benefit from an across the board healthcare system from lower premiums. Some may see a slight increase in taxes, but that will be more than offset by a reduction of health insurance premiums or by the fact that they will actually be able to see a doctor.
