After 9-11 could people from NJ or CT vote(if thay had an election that day?) Most had to walk out of the city, an 8-10 hour trek, not getting home until after midnight. polls usually shut down at 8. Would those people had a chance to vote that day? How about if terrorist knock out the power grid? would the diebold machines work? Come on think

red isn't it a sad commentary on the state of America that we talk about alternative elections? That thought just knocked me down. We are 300+ million Americans. And we are happy to just wake up alive every day? How much more negative does America have to go than that? What does it tell you about our current position in the world's opinion?
