Hello Que S.
That's so, I'm not a US citizen. It's very unpopular in almost any country for the government to announce to the people that there's not enough money for everything that folks want so some sacrifices of income are not only good but absolutely necessary. Retirement, for example. The US gov't can't face the future when the baby boom retires, because it looks too dreadful to announce and prepare for. Both parties are guilty, no doubt. Kerry will not do so and he also will not pull out of Iraq and leave it to the surrounding Moslem countries to pacify.
Probably most of us have some dream of the ideal society, Utopia. But long before we get there, if ever, there are cold blooded investment decisions to be made; that's what this thread handles. Jay would say that people with absolute conviction can lose plenty, therefore moves should be hedged and diversified in this time of no certainty about anything.

<I'm back to voting Libertarian.>

The natural meeting place of liberals [from the left] and less government [from the right].

Leave the Democratic do-gooder bossy-britches statists and born-to-rule Republican grab-and-take statists, megalomaniacs both, to stew in their own juices.

The natural political locus of the free and brave is Libertarian. I hear they are relocating to New Hampshire.
