You're an idiot. Hell, they'd be stupid not to have a contingency plan since we (and Al Qaeda) know Spain caved like a one egg pudding.

If we are attacked during the elections I sure as hell want the administration to be prepared to deal with it.

You're going off the deep end.

Nobody is talking about postponing any elections unless absolutely necessary. All your conspiracy theory buddies on the net are talking about the Bush admin saying they have "intel" and using that to postpone the election etc. That's total BS.

The only scenarios I see something like that happening would be for a major event. For example say well placed terrorist attack(s)that take down the electrical grid on the east coast for several days. Things like that.

I wouldn't think a bomb on a train (a la spain) would require such drastic measures, but somebody needs to be thinking of the possibilities and making whatever plans we can.
