The UN did not support an invasion of Iraq. Nor did the UN authorize the UNited States to lead an invasion of Iraq. The UN could have done so and a resolution was prepared by the US, but in the face of overwhelming opposition that attempt was dropped by the US. The US unilaterally invaded in Iraq, and not on behalf of the UN.
