Palestinian per captia income is about 1,000 dollars/ year. Does 25K make them rich for a lifetime??? Is it worth a son? No way, but now ask if sacrificing a son to become a martyr is worth it and you get a much different answer...

25K probably buys some security for their family. But that alone is not a motivation for going and comitting suicide. They passionately believe they are wronged. Though the rhetoric has generated into falsehoods propagated by their leadersand blaming others for their problems. Same thing holds on this side. 50% of the country buys hook and sinker as far as the lies of Bush administration is concerned.
