You give Conan more intellectual credit than he deserves. He sometimes has a hilarious view of world events but those views are usually very shallow. Whenever a political figure of substance, like John McCain appears on Conan's show, the latter gets very nervous & his remarks sound more frivolous than on target. Dennis Miller is the truly intellectual comedian and guess what?...he's Republican.
