Do you deny that Albanian Muslims orchestrated, planned and executed a program of ethnic cleansing against Christian Serbs? No. A great deal of reasonable debate over the Balkan deployments is possible, and I’m by no means convinced that the affair was handled as well as it could have been. My point was solely that no reasonable purpose is served by trying to boil a complex debate into a series of reductio ad absurdem one-liners. I’ve little tolerance for stupidity. It’s a fault, I know, but it’s one I’ve never been able to shake off.
