So you would agree then that our military has been decimated to the point where we can't have our attention on more than one area?

Do you have teenage boys?

I thought it was bad, but not quite that bad. I guess we need even more military spending then.

That depends on how many countries we intend to "democratize" at the same time.

I think either our military or our leaders were not capable of killing or capturing bin Laden and his cohorts, while they were contained and concentrated, and at the same time conducting an invasion and occupation of Iraq. And I think the results speak for themselves; we've been unsuccessful on both missions.

Now what do you think. Does it piss you off that almost 3 years after the horror of 9/11, al Qaida has gotten stronger, and continues to perform terrorist attacks? That bin Laden is alive and well and making plans to attack us and disrupt our elections? That the vast majority of our resources are being used for other activity?

We can't even call out the National Guard in case of a domestic emergency, hell most of them are in Iraq.
