The Bush Administration has already admitted that the information was false and the statement should not have been in the SOTU.

I guess that settles it. Outing a CIA covert operator for blatantly political purposes is acceptable because Clifford May doesn't like Joe Wilson.

Sure clears up that little lingering incident.
