Why doesn't Bush get a colleague from his National Guard days to introduce him (oops, there are no such colleagues).

Maybe Bush could get someone from his all-male Andover cheering squad to introduce him.

"Kerry's swift boat crewmates from his time in Vietnam and his children also will appear on Thursday."

Obviously only one person can introduce Kerry. His crew will also speak on Kerry's behalf.
