Nice waxing apoplectic. As far as polls and what people "know" goes, there was this one:

Poll: 70% believe Saddam, 9-11 link usatoday.com

On the informed electorate front, that one seems somewhat scarier. Elsewhere on the Iraq front, your chosen source shows this one: pollingreport.com

It looks like it's time to fire up yet another official W PR campaign about how well things are going in Iraq. The people seem to be increasingly improperly informed on that front.

Wow. That is a pretty good assessment of the current Administration...

< the void created by an unsound education is prone to being filled with all manner of inanity, conspiracy theories, racial theories, economic bunkum, and so forth. >

We've been given some real snake oil. Democracy is fragile and the post of WinSmiths showing 70% of the American People believe that Saddam and 9/11 have a linkage when such a credible link has NEVER been shown makes the rational amongst us very nervous. Why do The People believe that? A very Hamiltonian question, but alas, it is not their rabble-ness, but the fault of the leadership that allows such a mindset to persist.
