re: I guess that's where we disagree, because while you see a wide gulf (pardon the pun) between Al Qaeda and Saddam, I only see a minor gap.

First, you don't see. If anybody should understand the difference you should. Saddam was secular, bin Laden and al Qaeda are anything but. Oil and water (excuse the pun).

Second, you are not addressing the failure to get the majority of al Qaeda when they were concentrated in one place at one time. Doesn't it piss you off that the guy that did the Twin Towers is still doing terrorist attacks? All the time. Laughing at us. Doesn't it piss you off that we are cowering in our election period? That our delegates are afraid to go to their conventions?

Why didn't we get this minor piss ant on the face of the earth? You explain it to me.

John

JF, Those kids didn't die to avenge 9/11, or prevent another 9/11.

I guess that's where we disagree, because while you see a wide gulf (pardon the pun) between Al Qaeda and Saddam, I only see a minor gap.

I don't know how you could come to that conclusion. They couldn't be more different. As far as I can see, the only things they have in common are that they are both Muslim and they both have a beard.
