Laz, yes, travel on I-80 sometimes requires chains. On rare occasion, I-80 has actually been closed to vehicle traffic--not to mention the lesser roads. I believe during The Great Blizzard of the Winter of 1998-1999, ALL transportation in and out of Northern Nevada was halted for a day or so. But then Southern Nevada has its own set of weather problems, flash floods not being the least of these. - Holly <See? Nevadans have begun capitalizing Northern and Southern Nevada--just like they do in California.>
