"It would be foolish to trust such a person" A) Not trusting him is legit. But again, to assign false motives is weak. B) A lot on the left are a bit to naive (sorry) about our national security situation. We need to be extremely aggressive in going after those who will try to top 9-11. Bush combined aggressive action with tax relief to spur the economy. If we win the war on terror (something the left seems to think is unimportant), and America (and the free world) flourishes for the next few hundred years, the debt will not be a problem. Blown way out of proportion imo.
