I noticed your list of remedies only included raising taxes or slashing defense as solutions. Just can't bring yourself to mention balancing a budget by cutting programs and bloat can you?

What about GOP pork? That makes up a lot of the bloat.

Bush gives the average taxpayer $1000 with one hand, then picks his pocket of $1000 with the other (energy, health care and education costs plus local taxes in many states) then sticks you with the bill for his deficits after he's outta there back to Texas to pick up his huge checks from Carlyle Group for a job well done. The only taxcpayer gruop which really wins under Bush are the very rich and corpporate special interests, especially polluters, energy cronies and HMO's. Read "Perfectly Legal" if you don't believe me.
