rose- i hope you don't mind me butting in on this conversation with you and yers elf... but, that was a marvelous post! thank you. it's like having permission to read someone's diary. you're a good writer and that was pure poetry. the best travel writers are the ones who share not just what they SAW on their journey but what they FELT and how it affected their lives. that was one of the best i've read. thank you for writing it and having the guts to post it here. it wasn't pretty... but it was beautiful! -dusty ps- i think the next eight posts will also be something about travel and the journey of life down highway 61 by altair19... the burma shave man... we're almost to the 35,000th grub. <vbg>
