I wanted him to get up off his duff and calmly excuse himself and then act as if he were the "Leader of the Free World".

Thousands were killed and there might have been hundreds of thousands more that were in jeopardy, but Bush just sat there....

I guess he was hoping that Cheney or Rove or his Dad would handle things so he wouldn't have to make any decisions. Bush has always depended on others to get him out of tough scrapes, so I guess that's what he was expecting on 9/11.

If Gore had been in the same position and had done the same thing the conservatives (like yourself, Bill) would have been ALL OVER him.
