I once ordered a subscription to the National Enquirer to be delivered to the campus mailbox of a certain professor at an Ivy League college. I wonder if he thought to do what I did when someone enrolled me as a subscriber to "My Weekly Reader." In that case, I sent a letter to the publisher saying that I had accidentally chosen the wrong publication. They sent me a refund check.

There was a period in my life when I walked past a news stand that carried the Enquirer when I went to breakfast. I learned to avert my eyes after they front-paged a man cut in half by a railroad train.

Back to trivial subjects: how far do you think the dollar could fall?

The cartel meets next week in Vienna.

Mish note: I believe OPECs current price target has been raise TWICE since that number
