What's amazing is that we are having this conversation with a GOP president over a GOP controlled Congress. And if you think the GOP is good for the deficit, then think again. Frankly, I think its time for the GOP to implode! The things I'm bent at are naturally bones thrown to the left. A lot of good it did too (a political mistake by Bush). Do you honestly think Kerry would cut spending on these things? No. He'd raise taxes and cut military spending, then increase these very things. Bush is the better choice for lots of things, and he's the lesser of two evils on the spending front. Brian
