While Saddam was in power all those "firebrands" kept quiet, because they were too scared. Now, suddenly they all sound like if they grew up in the Bronx. "Gimme this, gimme that"... Not afraid of being gassed, summarily shot - or cooked alive. Must be a nice feeling, to let go of some of that rebelliosness, saved up over several decades. Maybe that's how people learn to like freedom. Maybe they'll also figure out that freedom is worth fighting for. Maybe they won't let another group of clowns enslave them again. Maybe. So far, their track record wasn't great.
