McCain only praises Bush on one subject, military toughness, though he has criticized him for not being tough enough.

On most other issues McCain has led the opposition to Bush, including the new gay marriage ban but also on spending, fiscal matters, corruption, energy, corporate welfare, campaign finance reform, environment and conservation. By and large, with friends like McCain, Bush doesn't need enemies.
