Two stories appear in today's Wall Street Journal which might be of interest to followers of the real estate market.

One story appears on page B1, describing big builders' efforts to prevent speculative buys/sells on homes in the communities they're building. (Murali Boyapati was right in mentioning a while back on this thread that some builders are requiring buyers to occupy properties for one year after buying--although I'd like to see how they enforce that and believe they'd have to sue me, with very little leverage, if I decided I needed or wanted to sell within that year).

Another story on page C2 with headline:

(mentions California and NYC, specifically)
