Double check with mph, but I've heard that's a perfectly valid and officially recognized citation among California and 9th Circuit lawyers and judges. They use it dozens of times each day.

Well, it's not quite that bad, but I will say
that I have one particular Government lawyer opponent who
cites to himself as authority for everything and the
judge, who is loath to slam the government, lets him
get away with it.

I'd put him a notch below TV as an authoritative source, however.<g>
