You do realize that you leap here to a completely unwarranted assumption. I do no such thing. How did "holding exclusively to applied atheism" get into this discussion? Of course that is what "science" is nowadays. It is to hold exclusively to applied atheism. So then where the origin of man is concerned, God is by necessity and intentionally ignored by "science," even if the "scientist" knows by faith that God created Him and gave him the gift of reason, as you have claimed He did. That is not faith. That is either a lie or schizophrenia.
