JF, First, it's not a "national security issue". That's the only reason I could come up with for Kerry (or someone else) to even bring up the issue in a presidential campaign. Otherwise, I'd agree that the issue should only be resolved at the state level, but then Kerry's personal position would be meaningless or at least irrelevant. So I ask one more time, why should Kerry say he's personally against driver's licenses for illegals if he isn't going to back up his beliefs with action? Tenchusatsu
