"...the threat itself did in fact exist.....and is now no longer existing..... " What is existing now is something far far more dangerous and it was predicted by many over and over again. The administration has taken a country bereft of WMD and created a breeder-reactor for terrorists. Saddam, with his rapidly decaying army, corrupt regime and already-destroyed weapons programs is no longer in power. Instead, bin Laden -- who many people believe was the threat from the git go -- is still at large; al Qaeda has reconstituted itself; new on-the-job training is available throughout Iraq, which daily slips further into a sinkhole of violence; terrorism around the world is on the rise; Afghanistan is careening back into chaos; and on and on and on. Those are the threats and the realities and all are a direct result of this administration's policies. M2
