Just don't turn yourself into a banshee! -------------- As I used to say so many times before, there are opinions and there are opinions, and also lots of the likes of Dr. Watsons. <VBG> You ain't becoming one of them, are you??????? LOL! What I said was simply that because of what happened in the past (the CAUSES), the concomitant EFFECTS were set in motion, finding expression at various times after the occurrence of the CAUSES. The Holy Bible says, "As you sow, so shall you reap." And the ancient mystics say, "Do ye not unto others what ye would not want done to you." The nature of the EFFECT depends on the nature of the CAUSE. The course of history would have been far different (perhaps peaceful and felicitous, with no murderous Jihadists to worry about, for example) if the people in power and the "the movers and the shakers" had been more evolved, perspicacious, responsible, kinder and gentler, less rapacious and wiser in their decisions and actions. Because oftentimes they were not, they had perpetrated selfish acts (=CAUSES) producing EFFECTS that have come back to haunt them. The history of mankind is replete with a seemingly endless series of CAUSES and EFFECTS that keep occurring in kaleidoscopic succession. If you intend to be frivolous, please don't bother to reply.
