Scared to say this but i have been afraid that the beheading craze will reach israeli soil or at least WB soil too. May be easier to capture a stray than blow up a bus or pizza parlor. mike


Only the method of killing will be new if it does. The Pals have been killing single Israelis when they could catch them since the intifada started. They make noises about doing kidnapping but it doesn't really materialize; their bloodlust is too great and they know that the Israeli government is unlikely to negotiate.

I don't think beheading was very prominent amongst ME terrorists before. It has been popular among the Pakistani/Afghan/Chechnyan jihadis, so the beheading craze is probably largely a result of the influx of Central and South Asian jihadis to Iraq. I don't recall reading about HAMAS or Hezbollah ever engaging in a bit of neck-hacking.
