Come on man, do you not understand anything about politics, or are you just making chatter? The only reason the Republicans raised the issue in the Senate is because they thought they could make political hay in an election year. They are trying to motivate the religious right. Nobody, repeat nobody thought this had a chance of making law. It's pure posturing... you know that as well as I do, as well as everybody does. And, IMHO it backfired... nobody wants the first amendment to the constitution the limits rather than expands citizen rights. Well, maybe a few do. John
