If you're insinuating that somehow Clinton should be held responsible for 9/11 and the Bush administration blameless, remember this:

The World Trade Center was attacked for the first time in February 1993, just one month after twelve consecutive years of Conservative Rule concluded.

Right. But after the attack in Feb '93, which was the FIRST major attack on American soil, Clinton had 8 years to get a handle on the situation, and failed to do so (even with additional attacks thereafter). Bush could hardly have been expected to "fix" the situation in 8 months, particularly, after the transition was delayed by Gore's attempted theft of the election.

I don't "blame" Clinton, as I think these attackers were particularly resourceful. But I think Bush has responded in the strongest possible manner, and as a result, they will have a tougher time next time around. There are still problems, but realistically, to totally reorganize the Federal government to deal with this problem in less than 3 years, while conducting two wars to eliminate future terrorists, is a pretty substantial achievement.

One thing you CAN do -- and that is to compare the achievements of Bush with those of Clinton. Bush accomplished more BEFORE 9/11 than Clinton did in 8 years. And Bush did it having to FIGHT for every inch. After 9/11, Bush's accomplishment are nothing short of miraculous.

While we may yet be attacked again, it is going to be one hell of a lot tougher for them to get away with it than it was on 9/11, after 8 years of Liberal Rule.
