There is some number, I think it's like 40 years since a President didn't agree to speak before the NAACP.
Longer than that. The last President that didn't was Calvin Coolidge.


It is hilarious. The Left has chronically accused him of being totally "political" in his behavior, yet he flatly REFUSED to pander for votes (like you-know-who did). Wouldn't do it. "You people ran lying commercials about me in the 2000 campaign, and I'm not coming over there and pandering to you creeps."

I love it. The NAACP represents the worst aspects of African Americans. I'm glad he stiffed them. And it certainly shuts down the argument that Bush is politically motivated.
