All of the humint was murky, especially in retrospect. The likelihood that Iraq had no means to utilize the yellowcake AT THE TIME, however, does not mean that they weren't asking to buy some. I'm no intelligence analyst, though, and neither is Marshall. His credibility may not be as shot as Wilson's, but it's definitely taken a hit (not in your view, obviously, but for many in the blogosphere).

. I thought the comment about the CIA saying they considered Wilson without Plame suggesting him was reasonably telling.

The comment is twisted, John. The Senate report plainly states that they have a copy of memo from Plame recommending him. It also states that Plame took Wilson into the meeting to interview him for the trip and introduced him. Wilson has stated again and again that this did not happen. Josh knows this. He has read the report. Wilson is a flat out liar. And Josh is stupid to hang on with all of this out there.

"...they had no capacity to use it should they have bought it."

Sorta like academics and common sense?
