Hi RR! How the heck are you? <font color=blue>"Is that your wife in the Pacific pictures? I know she use to post on here some but I've forgotten her name." <font color=black> No. That is my sister Cheryl. I have three sisters FWIW. She was tickled pink to have me visit her in California. We had a wonderful time. Edie (sullie6) & I plan on going out there in the next year or two to visit & drive from Monterey Bay north on the Pacific Coast Highway (Cheryl & I took it south from there to LA). Edie was unable to go on this trip as it was unplanned & I had to leave during a blackout period for vacations at her job. I drove a car out there for my nephew. <font color=blue>"Rumor has it that you and Polvie ate together." <font color=black> I can confirm the rumor. We spent a couple of hours together with one of polvie's friends (Greg?). It was a very pleasant time. We had dinner at one of polvie's favorite places - Sadie's - YUM! The meal was heavier than the conversation <g>. We talked about my trip, polvie's home (Albuquerque), where we each grew up, where I was headed, where polvie sails his boat, etc. There were no food fights <g>, just two dudes getting to know a little bit more about each other & putting a face to personalities we already knew fairly well. <font color=blue> "Did he pay the bill?" <font color=black> He insisted on paying the tab, but I had the advantage when it came. The waitress set it next to me <gg>. I told polvie he can take me out to dinner when he is in my neck of the woods.
