Ten, the world is full of "nuance". If the world were black and white and good and bad policy was obvious, we woulnd't need managers, in government or business. In the world of issue, there are never just two solutions, there are many, many variations.

Bush's whole anti-intellectual "I'm just a simple Texas cowboy" charade may appeal to some folks. But governance is about thinking through the repercussions of your actions. An example might be Iraq, where the admin never expected the aftermath we are experiencing now. That "nuance" (and all the subsequent dead kids) didn't register.
