I don't really know why he wants to carry a gun, except maybe to the firing range.

He's sort of "in your face" about his politics, and is very pro-gun, so maybe he just wants to make a political statement. He's also an ardent supporter of Israel, and often wears an IDF t-shirt. He says that when he wears it while hanging out in Fair Oaks mall, a lot of the time older people come up to him and ask him about the shirt, like can he read the Hebrew words? They probably think he's a nice Jewish boy, not an atheist gun nut. -g-

With me, it was a "macho" thing. I had three sidearms and a license to carry when I was 22.
